M. Peter Rios, M.D.

Born and raised in Hartford, Connecticut, M. Peter Rios, MD obtained his undergraduate degree from the University of Connecticut and went on to earn his doctorate from the UConn School of Medicine in 1990. A board-certified practitioner of family medicine, Dr. Rios completed his residency at Brown University in Providence. He joined Platinum Family Health shortly after its 1992 launch, and currently serves as Chairman of the Hartford County Medical Association. Dr. Rios holds a Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do and competes in various local tournaments.
